Terms of Service
Last updated: February 15, 2026
These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of estatedispute.ca (the "Website") and the Estate Dispute Lawyer Report service (the "Service"), operated by Webhaller Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Website or purchasing the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Service Description
estatedispute.ca provides a legal research and lawyer referral service. We research recent Canadian estate dispute case law, identify lawyers with proven experience in cases similar to yours, and deliver a report with up to three recommended lawyers ("Report").
Not Legal Advice
The Service is a legal research and referral service only. We do not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal representation. The Report is for informational purposes to help you identify and contact lawyers with relevant experience. You should consult directly with a qualified lawyer for legal advice regarding your specific situation.
Payment and Pricing
The Service is priced at $299 CAD plus applicable taxes (HST). Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By completing a purchase, you agree to pay the total amount shown at checkout.
Delivery
After payment, you will receive an intake form by email. Once you complete the intake form, we will deliver your Report within 5–7 business days to the email address provided at checkout. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on the complexity of your matter.
Intake Form
You agree to provide accurate and complete information on the intake form. The quality and relevance of your Report depends on the accuracy of the information you provide. We are not responsible for results affected by incomplete or inaccurate intake information.
Refund Policy
Due to the nature of the Service (customized legal research), refunds are generally not available once research has begun. If your Report does not contain three relevant lawyer recommendations based on the information you provided, contact us at [email protected] and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
Limitations
- The Service covers estate disputes in Canadian jurisdictions only.
- We do not guarantee that any recommended lawyer will accept your case, be available, or achieve a particular outcome.
- Lawyer recommendations are based on published court decisions and publicly available information. We do not verify a lawyer's current standing, fees, or availability.
- The Report reflects research conducted at the time of preparation and may not account for subsequent developments.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Website, including text, design, and branding, is the property of Webhaller Inc. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Webhaller Inc. and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on the Report. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
